Let Hope Find You Mural
Client: Salt Lake Arts Council

The SLC Arts Council commissioned me to paint a mural based on the theme of hope for the Art Barn's 90th anniversary. I used this opportunity to create a vibrant design that includes my Taiwanese roots. The plum blossoms are Taiwan's national flower (although, not a native flower). The beautiful pink blossoms are a symbol of resilience in times of hardship due to their ability to bloom in cold harsh winters. I chose the phrase "Let hope find you" because, in order to see and feel hope, you have to be open to the idea that hope exists. This mural can be viewed at the Art Barn / Finch Gallery during its open hours. Paint used: Behr in flat sheen.
